How are the chips created that we can no longer imagine mobile phones, computers, cars, or modern medicine without? The answer is provided by the new permanent exhibition Microelectronics at the Technical Museum in Liberec, which was officially opened during Museum Night 2026.The exhibition was created by UCT Fluid Delivery Solutions in collaboration with the Technical Museum of Liberec.Our task was to transform the technical topic of the semiconductor industry into an engaging and understandable experience for a wide audience – from children to technical enthusiasts. From the first design to the grand opening We completed the entire implementation in six weeks.We have prepared a creative concept for the exhibition, ensured project management, production, installation, and the grand opening.The project also included PR services, photo and video documentation, and complete production support.The exhibition was literally created from the ground up.The painting of the spaces has been completed, construction and coating of structures, electrical installation, installation of ceilings and lighting, installation of LED elements, custom furniture production, special constructions, and graphic elements on the floors.The implementation also included programming screens and tablets, printing and installing graphics, and dozens of other details that together create a modern visitor experience.Technology that is changing the world Visitors to the exhibition walk the path from silicon sand to chip manufacturing.Thanks to interactive elements, they can understand the principles of microelectronics and discover technologies that today influence practically every aspect of our lives.One of the dominant exhibits is a large silicon wafer – the basic building block of the semiconductor industry.The exhibition also shows that cutting-edge technologies are not only created in the world's technology centers, but also in Liberec.When "it can't be done" changes to "done" The result is backed by hundreds of hours of work from the entire SUNDISK team.The combination of creativity, technical know-how, and meticulous execution has made it possible to create an exhibition that will inspire visitors for many years to come.We are pleased to have been part of a project that promotes technical education and shows the public the fascinating world of microelectronics in a way that is understandable, interactive, and inspiring..
